Polka Sunday Worship

We took a break from the ordinary and held our worship service in Big Creek Park today. This was a special musical service with our special guests, the Chardon Polka Band, providing not only entertainment, but accompaniment to our hymns. The scripture reading was the appointed gospel lesson—the section of Luke in which Jesus teaches his disciples to pray. 

The music included a hymn to the tune of the Beer Barrel Polka, Do Lord, Standing on the Promises, and Amazing Grace (to an alternate tune). A video of the complete worship service follows (click "read more").
